Breaking: Carolina Ascent Announce Fall 2024 Schedule
New league's inaugural match will be played at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte on August 17.
Carolina Ascent FC, the Carolinas’ second professional women’s soccer team, will host the first-ever USL Super League match on Saturday, August 17 at American Legion Memorial Stadium (ALMS) in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood.
The Ascent faces DC Power Football Club to kick off USL Super League’s inaugural season in the first of 14 fall matches, including a total of seven home matches at ALMS in Charlotte.

“With all eight inaugural clubs announced, more elite player signings and the official, unveiling of the Fall Schedule, the USL Super League is truly coming to life,” said Carolina Ascent FC COO Tim Schuldt in a release. “We can already feel the strong support from our community and look forward to watching our fans join the climb with their Carolina Ascent Football Club.”
