There is so much here to unpack. CF for one is waay past his performance prime and that shows defensively. I also feel the team isnt the Quality CF claims. MLS is built different and a ton of credit for the results thus far go to MAR. This doesn't end well.
I do think the ideas that MAR isn’t getting enough credit for the effectiveness of his system and the fact that he should have done a better job building bridges with his team are ideas that can co-exist. Miguel had a lot of great things to say about his players to us (the media), but it’s clear many of the players weren’t getting that message.
Not talking to the club after losses? That’s a significant red flag that reenforces what Fuchs said about the door being closed. It’s clear how Fuchs felt about MAR, but no one is disputing the idea that Miguel could have been more accessible to and communicative with the team.
Does that merit sacking the coach mid-season? Only time will tell.
